At the beautiful and historic Oakdale Park established in 1925.
The weekend before they have the Paluxy River Bluegrass Festival.
So, stay in the park during the week and experience all Glen Rose has to offer - dinosaurs & museums (including the Creation Science Museum), rivers, fabulous shopping, one of the oldest & largest swimming pools in the state, great restaurants, The Promise (an epic musical drama of the life of Christ) and so much more! - and hear great bluegrass & bluegrass gospel on both weekends!
