in Calhan, Colorado, 30 miles east of Colorado Springs on Highway 24
Directions:
If you are driving to Calhan from the north on I25, exit Founder's Pkwy at Castle Rock and go east to Hwy 86. Stay on it through Elizabeth and go 5 more miles. Before you get to Kiowa, turn right on Elbert Rd. There is a sign for the Peaceful Valley Boy Scout Ranch. This is a beautiful drive all the way to highway 24. Go east to Calhan. The fairgrounds are south of the highway on 10th Street. Coming on I25 from the south, take the Hwy 24 exit east.

To celebrate 10 years of great music and great friends, we have decided to make this year's festival FREE to everyone
On site Camping
Electric hookups are sold out. Plenty of rough camping with showers $5 a night. Bring shade for tents. Fees payable to fairgrounds.
The only hotel in town has 27 rooms. The EconoLodge, 719-347-9589, 10% discount available. New hotel. Very nice and clean. Queen beds. Internet, free breakfast, microwave and fridge.
Well Behaved dogs are welcome on leashes except in Swink Hall. No dogs in Swink!
Festival Overview
Thursday - Seminar and sharing during the day regarding the music business, touring, getting gigs, etc.
Music begins at 6 pm. Come early for free lemonade and hotdogs!
Friday - noon - 4 pm, workshops, music begins at 6 pm
Saturday - music on 4 stages
workshops, jamming, open stage, band scramble, Kid's Tent with games, crafts, other activities, square dance at 9 pm
Instrument giveaway at 7 pm for youth 18 and under
Sunday - pancake breakfast at 8:30 followed by sing-along with Paul Danley from CO and service with Paul Estep from KY. Music till 5 pm

Workshop Schedule - These are awesome workshops with something for everyone!!
Sat/Sun Schedule for the Kid's Tent - On Thurs. & Frid. the children will be painting banners which will be displayed as stage backdrops.
Food & Drinks!
As a festival fundraiser we will have White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cappuccino, French Vanilla Cappuccino, Snicker Doodle Hot Chocolate - and regular coffee!
Ron Camerrer will offer the famous Johnson's Corner Cinnamon Rolls as a fundraiser for his Bluegrass Gospel Jam ministry.
Grant will be back with his concession booth - hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.
On Sat. night he will offer 2 meals for $5 -
Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes with gravy, Vegetables
Smothered Burrito with Rice and Refried Beans
The Sunday morning breakfast will be $3
Biscuits & Gravy or Pancakes & Scrambled Eggs
